Saltorelli provides dyeing services and has automated machines, a color development and finishing laboratory. Quality control is done by monitoring tests for shrinking, twisting, breaking, solidity, and color fixation.
Sizing is fundamental for the weaving of warp yarns. And one of its main requirements is to ensure that the yarn is able to resist diferent weaving processes.
Saltorelli also provides sizing services for third parties.
Cotton / Polyester
Investing in sustainability is our priority.
We believe that the development of sustainable practices and processes is essential.
We are increasingly seeking to work with conscious raw materials. We launched the eco denim line, which currently includes two fabrics made of recycled and biodegradable polyester. We have also been using organic cotton for more than 15 years in the production of special fabrics.
In addition, we have machinery that uses leftover yarn to produce new sustainable fabrics.
In 2010, we committed to compensate the environmental impact generated by the installation of the enterprise, with the reforestation of 7.62 hectares, equivalent to six times the impacted preservation area.
In an agreement made with the Municipal Government of Americana in 2011, a public green area of 90,000 m² was made available within the Natural Park of the Dainese Cave, which extends in a continuous strip about 930 m long and variable width between 70 and 130 m, located on the right bank of the stream that drains the area, which needed recovery, so that compensatory reforestation could be carried out.
In addition, we also undertook to plant 399 seedlings of native trees in the APP (Permanent Preservation Area) located next to our industrial park in Americana-SP.
System of treatment and reuse of industrial effluents.
We have a biological system for treatment of industrial liquid effluents containing biological selectors, activated sludge process and chemical physical post-treatment with filtration. This system allows the reuse of about 30% of the treated effluents in the denim processing process.

We carry out waste reduction projects, disposal and correct separation of all recyclables.
Reuse of washing water.
In the textile finishing processes, companies usually mix cleaner effluents with other more concentrated ones, implying a higher water consumption and higher pollutant generation. Saltorelli has implemented a system that segregates the cleanest effluent from the last wash (rinsing) of the fabrics, stores it in a tank and reuses 100% of this water in the industrial process.
